On Tuesday 17th of October 2017, New York College - Thessaloniki Campus
and Biscotto welcomed a large audience at the workshop entitled “Heritage Brand Storytelling: The Case of Cretan Gastronomy” which took place at Biscotto Coffee, Mediterranean Cosmos Mall.
Mr. Babis Michailidis, Academic & Career Counselor of New York College Thessaloniki presented the basic principles of Brand Storytelling and Mr. Kostis Kampourakis, General Manager of N. Zouridakis S.A. said a lot of Cretan gastronomy stories.
As Babis Michailidis explained, Storytelling is one of the most powerful ways to breathe life into your brand and often called one of the main components of a content marketing approach. By giving your products and services an identity by capturing and sharing the stories they really are, you can take your target audience on a journey they yearn to experience. In order for consumers to form a personal connection with your brand, company stories must be authentic, creative and inspirational. Emotional branding is a progressive marketing strategy that has the potential to drive revenue and increase customer retention.
Mr. Kostis Kampourakis narrated how old Cretans used pure traditional raw materials of that time and without any preservatives they started creating their first traditional family products with diligence and love till today. Then, everybody tasted authentic Sfakiani pita and the famous Cretan raki.
A very interesting and long dialogue took place after the workshop since the interest in the subject was high.
