“Preparing Teachers of English as a New Language – Current International Prospects and Issues”,

presented by: Dr. John Spiridakis, Professor and Chair, Department of Education Specialties, The School of Education, St. John’s University.

 

Join us on Tuesday, October 12th, 16:00 - 18:00

at NYC Amalias Campus, 38 Amalias Avenue, Syntagma, Room A1. 

The seminar will be in English Language.

 

Dr. Spiridakis for the past four decades has taught, written and lectured extensively about effective ESL/EFL and bilingual education pedagogy, programs and preparation. He has also secured national and international funds to implement major education research and professional development higher education projects for exemplary second language education. Currently, he oversees successful online Master’s Degree graduate programs in Teaching English as a New Language, Programs in Special Education and an online Doctoral Program in Literacy with emphasis in TESOL/TEFL.
