Dr Antonios Vadolas

Psychological and Psychoanalytic Insights in the understanding of religious terrorism

Dr Antonios Vadolas studied Psychology at Panteion University, Athens and holds a Masters degree in Community Care (Learning Disability) from Keele University, UK. He received his PhD in Psychology from Brunel University London, where he has been teaching since 2007 on the MA in Psychoanalysis and Contemporary Society. He has many years of teaching experience in Counselling and Psychotherapy courses in the University of London and has also worked as a psychoanalytic psychotherapist in private practice and for the National Health System, UK. Dr Vadolas joined the New York College Department of Psychology in 2015. He is the author of the book 'Perversions of Fascism' and has published in Greek and international journals. He is a member of the Psychoanalytic Association Freud-Lacan.
