New York College Educational Group, the Golden Sponsor of the New Year's Day Cake Ceremony of the British Embassy and Hellenic-British Chamber

Athens, February 19, 2020. The British Embassy in Athens and the Hellenic-British Chamber of Commerce, held the annual joint reception for the New Year's Day Cake Ceremony with the New York College Educational Group being the Golden Sponsor. 

The event, which was attended by members of the Hellenic-British Chamber, representatives of the Greek Government, senior business executives and British investors, was attended by the British Ambassador Mrs Kate Smith, the Greek President of the Chamber, Mrs. Anna Kalliani and the Greek President of the Chamber of Commerce, Mr Alexandros Turner.

Keynote speaker of the ceremony was Mr Ian Livingstone, Executive Chairman of London + Regional Properties one of the largest private UK investment groups in the broader real estate and tourism sector, with investment funds of around £ 9 billion.

The President and Founder of New York College Mr. Elias Foutsis had the opportunity to speak with the British Ambassador Mrs Kate Smith, who has previously honored the graduates of the New York College Educational Group. The Ambassador has shown  a particular interest in the international activities of New York College Educational Group in Greece (Athens & Thessaloniki) and the Czech Republic (Prague), as well as for its  dynamic collaborations with British Universities such as the  University of Bolton and University of Greenwich.

This event, where the New York College was the Golden  Sponsor, marks the excellent cooperation of Greece with Great Britain in economic, commercial and cultural terms, as well as their prospects for further development and strengthening.
