During the weekend of 6–7 May a group of Computer Science students participated at the “Athens Mini Maker Faire” event, presenting their projects in the New York College booth. And it was time well spent, indeed!

On January 11,2017, Constantinos Kalogeorgos, General Manager of Mitsis-Laguna Exclusive Resort & Spa, the Greek National Component Leader in Tourism Education and the International Councillor of Greece in SKAL delivered an inspiring speech about Tourism to of New York College students, starting from the early times of people’s travelling until today’s massive globalised tourism market, whilst emphasis was placed on the Greek tourism reality.

It was a great delight to welcome Her Excellency today at the University of New York Tirana premises. Students and lecturers had the chance to attend an open speech on ‘the European Union and security challenges’. The Ambassador’s talk was followed by student’s questions and a positive challenging exchange of opinions.

New York College Christmas charity bazaar
Νew York College Student Affairs Department organized a Christmas Bazaar to raise funds for the support of the N.G.O "Kivotos tou Kosmou" -Care and protection of mothers and their children. The annual Christmas Bazaar was held on the 6th -7th -8th of December 2016, 11.00 to 19.00 in the main building of NYC, Amalias 38 Syntagma. A big thanks to everyone who contributed! TESOL Macedonia Thrace “Welcome Back Event” September 25th 2016
The Seminar-Workshop opened with Ms Foteini Malkogeorgou, Academic director of the English Department and lecturer at New York College, Thessaloniki Campus. She focused her speech on how children learn, what we know and suspect about Second Language Acquisition and overcoming the limitations of the classroom.
