New York College (NYC) organized its annual Graduation Ceremony at the National Gymnastics Association in Athens. Academic representatives of partner universities awarded Graduates Bachelor's, Master, and PhD degrees, having carried out their studies entirely in Greece. These representatives included Dr. Alfred Ntoko Provost of Academic Affairs of the State University of New York-Empire State College, USA, Mr. Timothy Barry Director of Partnerships and International Faculty of Engineering and Science of the University of Greenwich, UK, the President and Vice-Chancellor of the University of Bolton, Professor Dr. George E. Holmes, and the Director of the undergraduate program in Management Ms. Isabelle Sole of Université Toulouse 1 Capitole, France.

On May 20, 2016, Minister and Consul General, Rosario Lemque, of the Philippines in Greece, was the guest speaker at a lecture before the International Relations students of New York College, presenting her country. During the questions and answers session that followed, students under the supervision Mr. Leonidas Gontzes, Associate Dean and Head of the International Relations Department of New York College, had the opportunity to ask the Minister and Consul General international relations-themed questions.
Press Release Colloquium on "War and Peace in the Global Era"
The Colloquium on "War and Peace in the Global Era" was held with great success on Thursday 2 June and Friday 3 June 2016 at the War Museum in Athens, under the auspices of the Ministry of Defense. The colloquium was organized by the Oriental Studies Centre for Culture and Communication of the Panteion University in cooperation with the Center for the Study of Mediterranean - Middle East Affairs and Culture of the Aegean University, the Center for Geopolitical Analysis of New York College and the Research and Education Center, Interdisciplinary Center of Mental Health of Armed Forces.

Thanksgiving Lunch by New York College Student Affairs Department
The New York College Student Affairs Department held a lunch on Thursday November 24th 2016 in order to celebrate Thanksgiving. Staff, students and alumni prepared and shared their delicious dishes. We all had a wonderful time and thank you for supporting our fundraising for “FLOGA”- Pan Hellenic parents association of children with cancer.

The University of New York Tirana, part of the New York College Educational Group, awarded the title of “Honorary Doctorate” to Professor Rexhep Meidani, former President of the Albanian Republic, in a ceremony that took place on the University grounds.
